These terms set out how VLTA quotes, accepts and completes headlight repair work, including parts, deposits, freight, timing and warranty handling for the individual job.
The exact vehicle, headlight, reported fault, requested outcome and available VLTA-supplied parts are reviewed before scope, price or timing are confirmed.
The quote records the identified headlight or part, accepted work, availability, price and timing. Confirm the exact item before ordering or booking.
VLTA uses VLTA-supplied parts, requires the headlight to be removed for internal repair and water-ingress work, does not offer an external-only reseal, and does not claim vehicle-mounted camera or ADAS calibration. Suitability, freight, price and timing are confirmed for the individual job.
VLTA provides 12 months' warranty on VLTA-supplied parts and workmanship within the agreed repair scope. Retained components outside that scope do not receive a new whole-headlight warranty.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable bolts, overtightening, impact or later modification is excluded. Third-party installation alone does not invalidate the warranty. We assess the cause before allocating responsibility. Housing welding or repairs performed by VLTA remain our workmanship.
We recommend a commercial address for both collection and delivery. FedEx applies additional charges for residential collection and delivery. Collection and return freight is quoted separately from the repair price. Price on application. We confirm collection and return costs after reviewing the full address, headlight quantity, packed carton dimensions and weight. Existing accepted quotes retain their agreed freight terms.
Quotes are based on the supplied information and photos. Housing damage, old repairs or internal damage may only become apparent after removal or opening. We photograph new findings, explain the options and confirm the revised scope and price with you before additional repairs proceed. The revised quote credits all prior payments and shows the additional balance, without charging overlapping labour twice.
The warranty is subject to the written terms provided with the job and does not exclude rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
