A 50% deposit is normally required to order parts and secure the booking. The balance is due before collection or return dispatch.
Special-order parts commonly take 10–14 days. We confirm the current estimate before taking the deposit. Lens replacement commonly takes 2–3 days and DRL repair 3–4 days once the headlight and parts are ready. Complex damage, testing or new findings can change the timing; the quote sets the expectation for the individual job. The quote separates parts lead time, workshop repair time and courier time. Timing begins only after the required parts, headlight and job information are available.
We recommend a commercial address for both collection and delivery. FedEx applies additional charges for residential collection and delivery. Collection and return freight is quoted separately from the repair price. Price on application. We confirm collection and return costs after reviewing the full address, headlight quantity, packed carton dimensions and weight. Existing accepted quotes retain their agreed freight terms.
Quotes are based on the supplied information and photos. Housing damage, old repairs or internal damage may only become apparent after removal or opening. We photograph new findings, explain the options and confirm the revised scope and price with you before additional repairs proceed. The revised quote credits all prior payments and shows the additional balance, without charging overlapping labour twice.
Complete headlight refurbishment — from $1,350 per headlight, including GST. Includes a new outer lens and rear housing, transfer of serviceable internal components, resealing and pressure testing. Subject to assessment and parts availability. Suitability depends on assessment, parts availability, assembly complexity and the condition of the original internals. Failed electronics, damaged optics and other additional repairs are quoted separately and require approval before work proceeds.
Appropriate functional checks depend on the individual headlight and available vehicle, are agreed for the job and recorded as actually performed. Bench checks do not establish an in-car test, and vehicle coding, aiming or calibration remain separate vehicle-level work. Removal and reinstallation, collection and return freight are quoted separately from the refurbishment price. Pair pricing is assessed individually. All prices include GST.
