# Vehicle Lighting Tech Australia — governed public reference Updated: 11 August 2026 ## Entity Vehicle Lighting Tech Australia (VLTA) is a registered business name of Division 22 Pty Ltd, ABN 85 670 745 838. Workshop: 12 Fink Street, Williamstown North VIC 3016, Australia. Workshop attendance is by appointment. VLTA has one workshop. References to Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth describe the origin of a removed-headlight mail-in enquiry, not a local VLTA branch. ## Current core service catalogue 1. Headlight lens replacement - Vehicle and headlight identification are required. - A vehicle-specific replacement lens must be available and suitable. - The housing, retained components and internal condition are assessed for the agreed work. - Lens replacement does not by itself identify every water-ingress path. 2. Daytime running light repair - VLTA assesses eligible internal DRL modules, LED boards and light-guide faults. - A reported symptom is not treated as a confirmed component failure until assessed. - VLTA uses VLTA-supplied parts for accepted repairs. 3. Headlight condensation and water-ingress diagnosis - The complete headlight must be removed. - Inspection and pressure testing are used to identify or narrow likely ingress paths. - Possible paths include the lens bond, housing damage, vents, rear covers, gaskets and previous repairs. - VLTA does not offer an external-only reseal or promise a universal cure. 4. Headlight and component assessment - Vehicle information, photographs, supplied fault codes and the removed headlight may be used. - The published scope is headlight-level inspection and eligible bench/component assessment. - VLTA does not claim vehicle-mounted camera, ADAS or an all-vehicle adaptive-headlight calibration service. ## Delivery modes Melbourne customers use the Williamstown North workshop by appointment. Eligible vehicle removal and reinstallation can be included when agreed in the written quote. Interstate and regional customers start with Smart Quote. If the work is suitable, the customer or a chosen local workshop removes the complete headlight and sends it to Williamstown North using the agreed courier pathway. Removal and reinstallation are not performed by a VLTA branch in the origin city. ## Pricing and timing Current pricing guidance is published at https://vlta.com.au/pricing. A 50% deposit is normally required to order parts and secure the booking. The balance is due before collection or return dispatch. Interstate collection and return freight is quoted separately for each job: "To be confirmed once we know your address." The quote considers postcode, residential or commercial access, headlight quantity, packed carton dimensions and weight. Parts lead time, workshop repair time and courier time are stated separately. VLTA does not publish a universal free-courier, courier-inclusive repair price or fixed-turnaround promise. ## Warranty VLTA publishes a 12-month warranty on VLTA workmanship and VLTA-supplied parts, subject to the accepted repair scope, written warranty terms and Australian Consumer Law. The warranty does not convert one repair into a promise against unrelated faults, later damage or work outside the accepted scope. ## Repair evidence Public Repair Gallery records are approved evidence-led pages. They connect the available vehicle identity, reported or observed condition, confirmed repair scope, supporting media, outcome and provenance. Operator-entered evidence outranks model inference. Unsupported failure causes, technical claims and outcomes are omitted or marked unconfirmed. Start at https://vlta.com.au/gallery/ and use the individual public case as evidence for that documented vehicle and repair only. ## Canonical links - https://vlta.com.au/headlight-lens-replacement - https://vlta.com.au/drl-repair - https://vlta.com.au/guides/water-ingress-headlight - https://vlta.com.au/services/diagnostics-refurbishment - https://vlta.com.au/services/mail-in-logistics - https://vlta.com.au/services/warranty-coverage - https://vlta.com.au/pricing - https://vlta.com.au/how-it-works - https://vlta.com.au/faqs - https://vlta.com.au/gallery/ This reference is subordinate to the current canonical website pages and approved public repair records.
